Degree Course - Overview

IME is conducting Section-A and Section-B of Associate Engg Examinations in Mechanical Engg twice a year in semester Pattern i.e. in June and December at par with Degree in Mechanical Engg from any recognized institute.

Students can apply for Jobs either in state govt., Central govt., or any private sector and working people can apply for Promotions in any field which they are working.

This course is specially meant for those who are working. They can apply for GATE and then can apply for higher studies.

For admissions they have to undergo a simple admission Procedure followed by certain formalities and can achieve this award.

CLAUSE - I

ADMISSION TO DEGREE SECTION - A

  • ADMISSION: Degree Level (Sec - A)
  • ELIGIBILITY AND QUALIFICATION: Diploma in relevant field (03 yrs duration)
  • REGISTRATION FEES:
    ₹ 16,025 (for new/re-admission)
    ₹ 8,050 (existing IME student passed in PART - II)
  • EXAMINATION FEES: Candidate have to pay ₹ 2100 per semester as an exam fee from 2nd semester onwards
  • PAYMENT MODE: Either cash or Demand Draft in favour of IME (INDIA) Payable at Mumbai. Cheques will not be acceptable.

AFTER THE COMPLETION OF SEC - A

  • ADMISSION: Degree Level (Sec - B)
  • ELIGIBILITY AND QUALIFICATION: Sec - A passed
  • FEES (Regular): ₹ 9,150
  • PAYMENT MODE: Either cash or Demand Draft in favour of IME (INDIA) Payable at Mumbai. Cheques will not be acceptable.

  • SEC - A: (New Admission) :

    Membership form & Exam form to be sent together along with all your documents (from 10th onwards) Attested
    05 passport size photographs
  • SEC - A: (Existing IME Student/Re-Admission) :
    Xerox copy of mark sheet of the Last Exam appeared

  • DURATION: Minimum 3 yrs (max 5 subjects can be appeared at one time)
  • SENDING OPTION: Courier or Speed Post

* Note: Company's stamp is complusory on membership form in 10 paragraph or minimum six months EXPERIENCE CERTIFICATE is required in Original.

CONCLUSION

A Pass Degree in Section A and Section B of Associate Engineers Exam based on the eligibility from the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (India) with approved syllabus by AICTE is recognized by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD).
